{"id":121730,"date":"2025-01-21T12:57:13","date_gmt":"2025-01-21T11:57:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/parmawelcome.it\/?post_type=poi&#038;p=121730"},"modified":"2025-01-21T12:57:17","modified_gmt":"2025-01-21T11:57:17","slug":"lino-ventura","status":"publish","type":"poi","link":"https:\/\/parmawelcome.it\/en\/place\/lino-ventura\/","title":{"rendered":"Lino Ventura"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Italian-French actor Lino Ventura, whose real name was Angiolino Joseph Pascal Ventura.<br>His filmography includes Touchez Pas au Grisbi (1953) and Ascenseur pour l&#8217;\u00c9chafaud (1957).<br>He died in Saint-Cloud, Paris, France.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As a boy he played among the stalls of the Ghiaia market, for this reason he considered himself the most Parmesan of our actors.<br>He practiced wrestling and it was in the ring that Jacques Becker noticed him and then entrusted him with the lead role, alongside the great Jean Gabin (to whom he always declared he owed his career), in that masterful film noir Grisbi (touchez pas au grisbi) of 1954. In 1927 he had moved with his family to Paris in search of work. With Louis Malle in Elevator to the Gallows in 1957 his career on the screen took off.<br>The French immediately liked this actor with a massive physique, half gangster and half beard, always hasty, loyal and without scruples.<br>In a few years he found himself working with many famous directors.<br>Commercial success came with The Gorilla Greets You in 1958 by Bernard
