INFORMATION for the processing of personal data pursuant to articles 13 and 14 of European Regulation no. 679/2016 – Subscription to the “Newsletter” of Parma Welcome, the Tourist Information and Reception Office of the Municipality of Parma

1. Introduction

Pursuant to articles 13 and 14 of European Regulation no. 679/2016, the Municipality of Parma, as the “Data Controller”, is required to provide you with information regarding the use of your personal data.

2. Identity and contact details of the data controller

The Data Controller of the personal data referred to in this Notice is the Municipality of Parma, with registered office in Parma, Via Repubblica no. 1.

In order to simplify the forwarding methods and reduce the response times, we invite you to submit the requests referred to in point no. 10, to the Municipality of Parma, Tourist Information and Reception Office, by email turismo@comune.parma.it

3. The Data Protection Officer

The Municipality of Parma has designated the Data Protection Officer, who can be contacted by writing to dpo-team@lepida.it

4. Data Controllers

The Institution may use third parties and technical assistance service providers to manage the information system for the performance of activities and related processing of personal data owned by the Institution.

In accordance with the provisions of the legislation, these parties ensure levels of experience, ability and reliability that guarantee compliance with the current provisions on processing, including the data security profile.

The Institution formalizes instructions, tasks and obligations for these third parties with their designation as “Data Controllers”. These parties are subjected to periodic checks in order to verify that the levels of guarantee recorded at the time of the initial assignment are maintained.

5. Subjects authorised to process

Your personal data are processed by internal personnel previously authorised and designated as data processors, who are given suitable instructions regarding measures, precautions, modus operandi, all aimed at the concrete protection of your personal data.

6. Purpose and legal basis of the processing

Personal data are processed in order to send, via email, informative communications (“Newsletter”) of the Tourist Information and Reception office of the Municipality of Parma to those who request them, by entering their email address in the appropriate data collection form, pursuant to art. 6 paragraph 1 letter a) of European Regulation no. 679/2016.

7. Transfer of personal data to non-EU countries

Your personal data are not transferred outside the European Union.

8. Retention period

Your data are retained for a period no longer than necessary for the pursuit of the purposes mentioned above and in any case until your request to unsubscribe from the Newsletter service.

9. Your rights

As an interested party, you have the right to: access your personal data, to obtain the rectification or erasure of the same or the limitation of the processing that concerns you, to oppose the processing, to lodge a complaint with the Guarantor for the protection of personal data.

10. Provision of data

The provision of your data is optional but necessary to finalize your subscription to the newsletter and failure to provide it will make it impossible to proceed.
