Parma Appennines by MTB

The Parma Apennines offer endless surprises, magnificent views to be discovered with more or less demanding rides by mtb, muscular or electric. The network of paths, forest tracks and mule tracks that dot the the Park of the Hundred Lakes allows you to make specially marked and marked bike routes, designed and set up in the two main towns of the Park, Corniglio and Monchio delle Corti.

In Alta Val Parma there is a system of eight routes, with different levels of difficulty, which develop in the territory of Corniglio. These routes are aimed at beginners, families with teenagers and those who are more trained and want long miles, challenging climbs, as well as some nice singletrack descents.
The routes are all ring, with an ideal common starting point at the Bosco di Corniglio sports field.

In Alta Val Cedra there are four ring routes with a common starting point at the central square of Monchio delle Corti from which bars and shops are easily accessible. The four
paths are connected to each other. They are aimed at users of medium-high ability and physical preparation,
equipped both from the point of view of the vehicle and clothing, but they also lend themselves to pedal assistance.

The 100 Laghi Bike
It is a 25-kilometer cycle-hiking trail, which develops largely on forest roads and paths
immersed in the woods at high altitude and only for a few kilometers on asphalt, with stretches promiscuous to ordinary roads. These characteristics, together with the difference in height of about eight hundred meters, make it a route suitable for muscle and pedal assisted mtb.
The departure is set in Lagdei in the municipality of Corniglio and the arrival in Prato Spilla in the municipality of Monchio delle Corti, with the possibility of taking the route in the opposite direction.
